SM12B-PASS-TBT is a 12-position, single-row, 2.00mm pitch header from JST's PA series, designed for board-to-cable/wire connections. It uses a surface-mount right-angle orientation, so the cable exits parallel to the PCB—useful for tight enclosures where vertical clearance is limited. The header is fully shrouded on all four sides, which protects the male pins during handling and guides the mating housing into alignment. A locking ramp on the top surface engages with the mating receptacle's latch for positive retention under vibration. The housing is molded from UL94 V-0 rated nylon, natural color.
Board layout and mating half
The 2.00mm pitch and single-row layout keep the board footprint compact—12 positions span 22.00mm from center of pin 1 to center of pin 12. The right-angle SMT termination requires a pick-and-place pad pattern with solder retention features. This header mates with JST PA series 12-position crimp receptacle housings.
