14-position, 1.00 mm pitch, SMD right-angle header
Solder retention and board-level hold
The header includes a solder retention feature — small metal tabs on the body that reflow with the signal pins, adding shear resistance against cable strain during assembly or field service. This is not a board lock, but it improves hold compared to a plain SMT header. The insulation height is 0.069 inches (1.75 mm), keeping the mated connector pair low-profile above the board surface.
Mating connector and pinout
The mating half is a SHL series receptacle housing (e.g., part numbers starting with SHL) that accepts crimp terminals. The pinout is a single row of 14 positions, all loaded, with no keying or polarization beyond the shroud shape — verify the receptacle orientation before committing the layout.
