You order the matching male pin crimp terminals separately; the SM series uses a standard crimp contact that accepts a specific wire gauge range. Without the terminals in the BOM, the housing is an empty shell, so confirm the terminal part number before the build.
Comparing the Natural and Black Variants
The SMR-02V-N (natural) and SMR-02V-B (black) are electrically and mechanically identical — same 2-position, 2.50mm pitch, same latch lock, same PA6 material. The only difference is housing colour. For a harness that lives inside an enclosure, colour is cosmetic; for a visible assembly where colour coding matters, pick the one that matches the wire or header.
