The JST SYR-02T is a 2-position receptacle housing from the RCY series, moulded in red polyamide (PA66 / Nylon 6/6) with a 2.50 mm pitch. It is a free-hanging (in-line) crimp housing — no board-mount features — designed for wire-to-wire or wire-to-board harness applications where the receptacle half terminates a cable assembly.
Mating and Termination
This housing accepts male pin contacts (crimp termination) that are ordered separately — the housing itself ships without contacts. The mating half is the corresponding RCY series header or plug housing with female socket contacts. The 2.50 mm pitch is shared across the RCY series, so the position count and keying must match the chosen header. The nylon 6/6 body provides the usual balance of stiffness and dielectric strength for this class of connector.
