Pitch and Footprint Fit
The 3.96mm pitch places this housing in the power-class spacing band — wider than the 2.54mm pitch of signal headers, narrower than the 5.08mm or 7.62mm of terminal blocks. The mating header's pin layout must match this 0.156" pitch exactly; a 3-position header at 3.96mm pitch is the required board-side counterpart. The single-row arrangement keeps the connector narrow, suiting it for edge-of-board or inline harness positions where board area is tight.
Contacts and Termination
The natural PA6 nylon housing provides the insulation and mechanical retention; the electric shock prevention feature refers to the fully shrouded design that shields the male pins when unmated.
