Product details

Receptacle Housing for VH Series Wire-to-Board Connections

This is the most common miss on this line: a buyer gets the housing and has nothing to terminate the wire into. The mating crimp contact for 20-24 AWG wire is the JST SVH-21T-.1 or the tin-plated SVH-21T-1.1, depending on the wire gauge and current requirement.

Mates with B6P-VH Header — Same Pitch, Same Latch

This receptacle mates with the JST B6P-VH header (through-hole, vertical or right-angle). No adapter or conversion needed. The 6-position count matches the B6P-VH pin count one-to-one; a 10-position VHR-10N housing would need a B10P-VH header instead.

It does not carry an IP rating, so it is not intended for washdown, outdoor direct-sun, or underhood automotive use. The natural colour is the unmodified resin — no pigment added.

Frequently asked questions

Can VHR-6N be used with B6P-VH header?

Yes, the VHR-6N mates directly with the JST B6P-VH header. Both use the same 0.156" (3.96mm) pitch and latch lock geometry.
