It uses a 0.244" (6.20mm) pitch — wide enough to handle moderate current without crowding the terminals, and common across the VL family so the same crimp tooling and terminal family works for 4-, 6-, and 12-position builds. The housing is white polyamide (PA66) with a latch-lock fastening system that gives a positive audible click on mate, which matters when the harness gets routed into a panel and you cannot see the connector face.
If the BOM line only lists this housing, the line will stop at the crimp press.
How the 12-Position Compares to the 6- and 4-Position Siblings
The VLP-12V-1 shares the same 0.244" (6.20mm) pitch, 2-row layout, latch-lock, and PA66 material as the VLP-06V-1 (6 positions) and VLP-04V-1 (4 positions). If the harness needs fewer circuits, drop down to the 6-position; if the BOM calls for 12, this is the one.
