Housing Identity and Series Fit
The JST XADRP-20V is a 20-position receptacle housing from the XAD series, designed for wire-to-board or wire-to-wire interconnects in free-hanging (in-line) harness assemblies. It uses a 0.098" (2.50 mm) pitch across two rows with the same row spacing, giving a compact dual-row layout that matches the XAD series male headers. The housing is moulded in natural polyamide (PA66) rated for -25°C to 85°C operation.
What You Need to Order
Contacts are not included with this housing. You need to source the mating female socket crimp terminals separately — a step that sometimes gets missed on the first BOM pass. The housing accepts crimp contacts terminated to wire, then inserted into the cavities. The latch lock on the housing provides a positive retention when mated with the corresponding XAD series plug header, suitable for applications where vibration could otherwise work a connector loose.
