What This Housing Does and Where It Fits
It accepts crimp-terminated female socket contacts — the terminals are ordered separately, so the BOM needs a line item for the matching contact part number.
That symmetry simplifies the crimp tooling setup — the same applicator handles both rows — and means the mating header's pin field is equally spaced in X and Y. The 24 positions split evenly as 12 per row, so the connector body is roughly 1.5 inches long, manageable for a multi-wire bundle without the housing becoming too stiff to route. Compared to the 26-position XADRP-26V, this 24-position version drops two circuits per row. If your harness needs exactly 24 conductors, this housing avoids the dead cavities of the 26-position part, which can trap moisture or debris in unused terminal cavities.
