The JST XAP-11V-1 is the 11-circuit receptacle housing in the XA series, a 2.50mm-pitch wire-to-board connector family. It accepts female socket crimp terminals (sold separately) and locks to the mating header with a latch for vibration-resistant retention. The natural PA66 housing is rated for -25°C to 85°C operation, making it suitable for indoor consumer electronics, appliance control boards, and low-cost industrial sensor harnesses where the temperature stays inside that envelope.
Contacts Are Not Included — Order Separately
The XAP-11V-1 ships as an empty housing. The female socket crimp terminals must be ordered separately — the JST XA series uses a specific terminal (often listed under the SHA or SXA order code) that mates with the 2.50mm pitch and accepts the wire gauge the application requires. Confirm the terminal part number against your wire size before committing the BOM line.
Mating Half and Termination
This receptacle mates with the JST XA series pin header (male, through-hole or surface-mount, 11 positions, 2.50mm pitch). The latch lock on the housing snaps over the header's locking ramp for a positive hold. Termination is crimp-style — the terminals are inserted into the housing after crimping onto the wire, and the latch retains them without a secondary lock.
