14-Circuit XA Receptacle Housing for Wire-to-Board Harnesses
The JST XARP-14V is the 14-position, single-row receptacle housing from the XA series, designed for free-hanging (in-line) wire-to-board or wire-to-wire interconnects. It uses a 0.098" (2.50 mm) pitch, which is a common spacing for signal-level and moderate-power circuits in compact harness assemblies. The housing accepts female socket crimp terminals (sold separately) and secures the connection with a latch lock that provides audible and tactile feedback when fully mated.
Contacts Not Included — Order Crimp Terminals Separately
The XARP-14V ships as a bare housing. The female socket crimp terminals must be ordered separately, typically from the JST XA series terminal range. This is standard practice for crimp-style connector housings — the harness builder selects the wire gauge and plating grade (tin vs. gold) appropriate for the application and terminates the contacts before insertion into the housing.
