The JST XARR-12VF is a 12-circuit receptacle housing from the XA series, designed as the wire-side half of a wire-to-board or wire-to-wire connection. It uses a 0.098" (2.50mm) pitch and accepts male pin contacts that are crimped onto discrete wires. The single-row layout keeps the connector narrow — useful when routing a 12-position harness through a tight cable exit. A latch lock on the housing secures the mate against vibration, and the natural (unpigmented) nylon housing suits general-purpose internal wiring where colour coding isn't needed.
Sizing the Wire and the Mate
This housing ships empty — contacts are ordered separately. The latch lock on the receptacle engages the header's locking ramp, giving a positive tactile click when fully seated.
