The XHP-12: This is the half that wires into a harness and mates with a pin header on the board. Typical use: wire-to-board interconnects in consumer appliances, industrial controls, and automotive interior modules where 2.50mm pitch keeps the routing dense enough without crowding.
Sizing the harness: contacts and mating half
Contacts are not included — order JST crimp terminals separately. With 12 positions, this housing sits between the 10-position XHP-10 and the 13-position XHP-13 in the XH family. If your BOM calls for 12 circuits, this is the correct shell — no need to jump to a 13-position and leave a cavity open unless you're planning a future revision.
