14-Circuit Free-Hanging Receptacle Housing for JST XH Series
The JST XHP-14 is the 14-position receptacle housing in the XH series of 2.50mm-pitch wire-to-board connectors.
Pitch and Position Count — Matching the BOM Line
The 2.50mm pitch is the same across the entire XH series, so the footprint and mating header pitch are fixed regardless of circuit count. The 14 positions here sit between the 13-position XHP-13 and the 15-position XHP-15 — the only difference is the cavity count. If your BOM calls for 14 circuits, this is the housing; the 13- or 15-position siblings will not fit a 14-circuit header without leaving an empty cavity or overhanging the board.
You must order the mating female socket contacts separately, typically the JST SXH-001T-P0.6 or equivalent for the wire gauge you are terminating (commonly 20–26 AWG). The crimp terminals are inserted after stripping and crimping, and the housing's internal lance locks them in place. Plan for a separate line item for contacts and a crimp tool; the housing alone does not complete the harness.
