20-Position Receptacle Housing in the JST XH Series
The JST XHP-20 is the 20-circuit receptacle housing in the XH series, a compact wire-to-board interconnect family built around a 2.50 mm pitch.
The housing has a secondary lock that must be open during terminal insertion, then closed to lock the contacts.
20 vs 2 Positions — Same Pitch, Different Circuit Count
The XHP-20 shares the same 2.50 mm pitch and single-row layout as the XHP-2, but carries 20 positions against the 2 of the XHP-2. The decision between them is purely a circuit-count match — the housing footprint, terminal compatibility, and mating header series are identical. For a BOM requiring 20 discrete wire-to-board connections, the XHP-20 is the correct housing; the XHP-2 is a lower-count sibling for smaller harness branches.
