The JST YLR-08VF is the 8-position, dual-row receptacle housing from the YL series, on a 4.50 mm pitch. The white colour and latch-holder fastening are standard for the series; the latch gives a positive audible lock against vibration in industrial control cabinets, vending machines, and small-appliance power interconnects. The operating range is -25°C to 90°C, suited for indoor equipment but not for under-hood or sealed outdoor use.
Contacts are not included. You order the crimp contacts separately, sized to your wire gauge.
Mating Half and Termination Workflow
This is a receptacle housing that accepts male pin contacts terminated by crimping. It mates with the corresponding JST YL series pin header — typically a through-hole or surface-mount header on the board side. The dual-row, 8-position layout at 4.50 mm pitch means the mating header must match that exact position count and row spacing. For field service, depress the latch to release — no tools needed.
