The JST ZHR-13 is the 13-circuit receptacle housing in the ZH series, a 1.50 mm pitch wire-to-board connector family.
The 1.50 mm pitch is tight enough to keep the board footprint small — useful for compact PCBs in consumer and industrial control — but still leaves room for a positive latch on the mating header. The PA66 housing handles the 85°C upper end of the operating range without creep; the real limit is the crimp terminal's current rating, which depends on the wire gauge and the specific contact selected.
This housing mates with the ZH series pin headers (male, through-hole or SMT) at the same 1.50 mm pitch. The female crimp sockets are not included — the ZHR-13 is a housing only. For a complete wire-to-board interconnect, order the matching crimp terminals (JST part code SZH-002T-P0.5 or equivalent) and the pin header that matches your board-mounting preference (vertical or right-angle).
Position Count vs. the Closest Sibling — ZHR-12
The ZHR-13 carries 13 positions against the 12 positions of the ZHR-12 at the same 1.50 mm pitch, same single-row layout, same natural PA66 housing, and same crimp termination. The 13th position is the only functional difference — if your BOM calls for 12 circuits the ZHR-12 is the correct fit; if it calls for 13, the ZHR-13 is it. The mating headers and crimp terminals are shared across the series, so the rest of the BOM stays the same.
