What the 22-position housing does in a harness
ZPDR-22V-S is a 22-position, dual-row receptacle housing from JST's ZPD series, on 1.50 mm pitch. It's a free-hanging shell that takes female socket crimp terminals — you supply the contacts separately. The latch lock holds the mate against vibration in moving equipment.
The housing ships empty. You'll need the matching ZPD crimp socket terminals — order them separately to complete the wire-to-board connection.
ZPDR-22V-S carries 22 positions; the ZPDR-20V-S carries 20. Same pitch, same latch lock, same free-hanging format — the only difference is circuit count. If your BOM calls for 22 positions, the 20-position housing won't fit.
