Terminal Position Lock (TPA) and Contacts-Not-Included
A Terminal Position Lock (TPA) is integrated into the housing. After the crimped female socket contacts are inserted, the TPA slides or snaps into place to lock each terminal in its cavity. This secondary retention is critical in high-vibration applications — without it, a single loose terminal can open the circuit.
