Contact system and board fit
The 98414-G06-38ULF is the 38-position member of Amphenol ICC's Minitek 2.00mm shrouded header line, mating with board-to-board or cable receptacles at the same 2.00 mm pitch. Mating contacts are gold GXT™ over 30.0µin (0.76µm) thickness — the gold layer supports repeated mating cycles without exposing the base copper alloy. The 4-wall shrouding and latch holder protect the pins during engagement and resist vibration-induced disconnect.
Pitch and routing density
The 2.00 mm pitch and 0.079" row spacing place the 38 pins on a compact grid that routes between adjacent vias on a standard 0.062" PCB without forcing a layer increase. The through-hole solder termination with 0.098" post length suits boards up to 1.6 mm thick.
