Mating contacts are gold GXT™ flash — that's a thin gold layer over nickel. The solder tails are tin-plated, which is standard for wave solder. This is a signal-level current; don't push it for power distribution.

Shrouding, Keying, and Mating Half

A keying slot prevents mis-mating — you can't plug in a receptacle that isn't keyed for this position. The latch holder provides positive locking when mated. This header mates with Minitek® 2.00 mm receptacles (crimp or IDC) that have the matching latch. The insulation height of 0.232" leaves clearance for the receptacle body.
