The 31-5900: It terminates to RG-59 plenum cable, including Belden 1506, 82108, and 9104, using a crimp-on shield and center contact. The nickel-plated zinc die-cast body and gold-plated brass center contact give it the corrosion resistance and mating-cycle durability expected of a field-installed BNC — 500 cycles on the bayonet lock. Rated 500 V, it handles the voltage levels typical of CCTV video, baseband test signals, and low-power RF distribution where the cable run stays within the 4 GHz bandwidth.
