60-Position Mezzanine Receptacle at 0.80mm Pitch
The Amphenol FCI 61082-062400LF is the 60-position receptacle in the BergStak® 0.80mm series, a high-density board-to-board interconnect. It uses a 2-row layout at 0.031" (0.80mm) pitch, which means the board footprint is tight — routing a trace between pads takes a fine-line PCB capability. A board guide feature on the housing helps the two halves find centre during blind-mate assembly, which is useful when the connector pair is not at the board edge.
Stack Height Selection — One Receptacle, Four Spacings
This receptacle mates with the corresponding BergStak® 0.80mm header to achieve any of four mated stacking heights: 9mm, 10mm, 11mm, or 12mm. The same 61082-062400LF board footprint works across all four — the board designer picks the header height to match the z-axis clearance in the enclosure. The 0.303" (7.70mm) height above board is the receptacle's own seated height; the total stack is the sum of the receptacle and header heights. Against the 80-position sibling 61082-082400LF, the difference is the circuit count — 60 positions vs 80 — at the same pitch, height, and plating. The 60-position body is shorter along the mating axis, which can simplify the board layout if the extra 20 circuits are not needed.
That is a standard gold flash for mezzanine connectors — enough for the mating cycle count of a production board assembly, but not a high-cycle field-service connector. The surface mount termination keeps the board bottom clear of through-hole leads, which frees routing space on the back side.
