The Amphenol 68022-104HLF is a 4-position, dual-row unshrouded male pin header from the BERGSTIK® II series, designed for board-to-board interconnects. It uses a standard 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch on both rows and between rows, matching the classic DIP footprint for through-hole soldering. The right-angle orientation places the pin rows parallel to the PCB, suited for board-edge mezzanine stacking or perpendicular card mating. Rated 5 A per contact at 110 V, with 30.0 µ" gold or GXT™ plating on the mating surface — a plating grade that supports repeated mating cycles in signal-level applications. The unshrouded design gives you access to the pins for probing or hand-routing, but provides no polarization keying, so the mating receptacle must be aligned by the board layout.
Mating and Termination
This header mates with any standard 0.100" pitch, dual-row, unshrouded socket strip or IDC receptacle that accepts 0.025" square pins — the BERGSTIK® II receptacle housing or a generic 2.54 mm box header works. The solder posts are 0.110" (2.79 mm) long, sized for standard 1.6 mm PCBs; the mating pin length is 0.318" (8.08 mm). The push-pull fastening type means there is no latch — retention relies on the interference fit of the pins in the receptacle contacts. The UL94 V-0 rated black thermoplastic housing handles the flame requirement for equipment inside an enclosure.
