SMA Bulkhead Receptacle for 18 GHz Signal Paths
The 901-9890-RFX: The connector uses a threaded coupling for secure mating and includes the lockwasher and nut for front-side panel retention.
This is a bulkhead-front-side-nut receptacle: the connector body passes through a panel hole, and the nut and lockwasher clamp it from the front. The shield braid is soldered to the body, and the centre conductor is soldered into a cup — no crimp tool needed, but the solder joint must be clean to avoid cold joints that shift the impedance at 18 GHz. The 500 mating cycles rating means the gold-over-beryllium copper contact can handle repeated test-port or antenna swaps without the centre pin losing its spring force.
