The Amphenol RF 915-1005 is a PSMP-series plug with a female socket centre contact, designed for field assembly onto RG-405 (.085".086".087" semi-rigid.085" conformable) cable. Rated at 50 Ohm impedance with a 2 GHz maximum frequency, this plug handles signal paths up into the low microwave band. The snap-on fastening means it mates without tools, which is useful in blind-mate or dense-panel layouts where a wrench can't swing. The 480 V voltage rating is high for this class, so it can carry bias voltage or power-over-coax without breaking down.

This plug is built for RG-405 semi-rigid coax — the.085" and.086" outer diameter variants, plus the.087" size and.085" conformable types. The centre contact solders to the signal pin, and the shield terminates via solder as well.
