Selection notes
The 5.00mm pitch and partial shroud suit board-level power distribution where 10 A per circuit is needed — the tin plating handles moderate mating cycles; for higher cycle life, a gold-plated sibling in the EX series would be the next step. Vertical through-hole orientation keeps the header standing off the board at 0.374" (9.50mm) insulation height — the contact tail length of 0.132" (3.35mm) sets the solder fillet depth.
