The F516-1A7H1-21014 is a 14-position FFC/FPC connector from the Amphenol ICC (FCI) Aorora F516 series, built on a 1.00mm pitch for dense board-to-flex routing in space-constrained designs. The ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) slide lock actuates the contact beams onto the FFC/FPC without insertion force, reducing wear on the flex circuit pads during assembly. Gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts with 1.97µin (0.050µm) gold thickness provide corrosion resistance for moderate mating-cycle duty, backed by a 30-cycle rating.

Accepts FFC or FPC cable with a thickness of 0.30mm or 0.33mm, straight or tapered cable end type, and bottom-contact configuration. The slide lock mechanism secures the cable after insertion — the actuator slides over the flex tail, clamping the contacts without a secondary latch.
