Right-Angle D-Sub Receptacle with Board Lock and Screwlock
It mates with the standard E shell size male plug. Two features distinguish this variant for production assemblies: the integrated board lock anchors the connector during wave soldering and resists shear from cable strain, and the mating-side female screwlock with 4-40 threads secures the mated pair without requiring a separate nut plate. The stamped phosphor bronze contacts carry a gold flash finish — sufficient for the moderate mating cycle count of a fixed-installation D-Sub, though not rated for the repeated connect-disconnect duty of a gold-over-nickel plating.
Through-hole, right-angle mounting with solder termination. The board lock is a pair of barbed plastic posts that press into the PCB — they hold the connector in place during the solder wave and add mechanical retention against the force of the mating plug. The shell is steel with tin plating, providing EMI shielding continuity to the panel or mating connector shell.
Ratings and Operating Range
Rated 3A per contact at 250V — these are signal-level ratings typical for a standard-density D-Sub.
