75-Position M.2 Socket for NGFF Mini Cards
The MDT850M01501 is a 75-position M.2 (NGFF) female connector from the MDT850 series, designed to accept M.2 Mini Cards in embedded and mobile applications.
The 0.50 mm pitch is the standard for M.2 NGFF connectors, matching the card edge pad spacing exactly — no guesswork on footprint dimensions. 75 positions is a common count for M.2 B-key or M-key modules that carry both PCIe and SATA signals; the dual-row readout means the contacts alternate on two rows under the card edge, keeping the connector body narrow enough for tight board layouts.
Gold Plating and Contact Reliability
The mating side is gold; the solder tail is tin, which wets well to the PCB pad during reflow.
Both the MDT850M01501 and the MDT670M01501 are 75-position, 0.50 mm pitch, right-angle M.2 female connectors with 30.0µin gold contacts. The MDT670 adds board lock features and a board lock feature in its spec — the extra solder anchors on the board lock give it better shear-force resistance during card insertion and removal. If your assembly sees frequent card swaps or runs in a vibration environment, the MDT670's board lock is worth the footprint change; for a fixed-card installation the MDT850's solder retention is sufficient.
