Single-Wire Receptacle Housing for the ACH Series
The JST ACHR-01V-A-S is a 1-position receptacle housing from the ACH series, designed for single-wire connections using a 1.20mm pitch. It accepts a female socket crimp terminal and mounts free-hanging (in-line), making it a wire-to-wire or wire-to-device interconnect rather than a board-mounted header. The natural-colored housing is molded from Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) and operates from -25°C to 85°C.
The housing ships with contacts not included — the female socket crimp terminal must be ordered separately. JST's ACH series uses a specific crimp contact; the mating male pin header is also a separate part. The 1.20mm pitch and single-row layout mean the terminal cavity accepts one wire per position, crimped before insertion.
1-Position vs 2-Position — Selecting the Right Cavity Count
The ACHR-01V-A-S is the single-position member of the ACH receptacle family. For a two-wire connection, the ACHR-02V-S offers the same 1.20mm pitch, natural PBT housing, free-hanging crimp termination, and active lifecycle — just with 2 positions instead of 1. The choice is purely about the number of circuits in the harness: one wire per cavity, no shared terminals.
