SMT assembly features and board-level retention
Mated stack height is 7.3 mm, which sets the board-to-cable clearance in the final assembly. The insulation is natural polyamide (PA9T) rated UL94 V-0, suitable for equipment inside enclosures requiring flame retardance.
Mating connector and position variants
This header mates with JST GH series crimp-style receptacles (e.g., part numbers starting with GHR). For a 7-circuit assembly, the mating receptacle housing is the GHR-07V-S, used with the appropriate crimp terminals (SSHL-002T-P0.2 for 28-32 AWG wire). Position variants in the same GH SMT header family include the 6-position BM06B-GHS-TBT and the 8-position BM08B-GHS-TBT. The 7-position version fills a gap between these common counts, useful when a design needs exactly seven signal lines without wasting a position.
