7-position SMT header for tight wire-to-board connections
The BM07B-ZESS-TBT is a 7-position, single-row header from JST's ZE series, pitched at 1.50 mm — narrow enough to save board space but wide enough to route a trace between pads without necking down. It's surface-mount, shrouded on all four walls, and carries a locking ramp that clicks into the mating receptacle to hold the pair together under vibration. Rated 2 A per contact at 100 V, this is a signal-level interconnect — think sensor inputs, low-current control lines, or I/O links inside a panel.
Locking ramp and SMT solder retention
The locking ramp on the header engages with the mating receptacle latch — no secondary clip needed. The part also includes pick-and-place and solder retention features, meaning the SMT pads hold the header in place during reflow without the tombstoning you get from a plain two-pin anchor.
