Position-count alternatives in the same PALR series

If the BOM needs a different circuit count, the PALR series offers direct siblings at the same 2.00 mm pitch and free-hanging mounting: the PALR-05VF (5 positions) and PALR-07VF (7 positions). The PALR-06V is a panel-mount variant with the same 6-position count but uses snap-in panel mounting instead of free-hanging — a different mechanical fit for fixed-panel harness routing rather than in-line cable-to-board connections.

Mating and termination — what goes with it

This plug housing accepts male pin crimp terminals (contacts not included). It mates with a PA-series header mounted on the PCB. For field service, the housing releases by depressing the locking ramp; the crimp terminals are removed using a JST extraction tool. The 2.00 mm pitch means the mating header footprint is compact — 12 mm across for 6 positions (6 x 2.00 mm).

Frequently asked questions

What is the pitch of PALR-06VF?

The PALR-06VF uses a 2.00 mm (0.079") pitch between positions, standard for the JST PA series.
