PNI Series 3-Position Panel-Mount Housing
This housing accepts male pin contacts (ordered separately — see note below) and terminates via crimp, making it suitable for field-serviceable or low-to-medium volume production where pre-loaded headers aren't practical.
Panel Lock and Latch Retention
A panel lock feature on the housing secures it into a panel cutout, preventing the connector from being pushed back through the panel when unmating the plug.
This is standard for field-installable connector families where the user selects the wire gauge and plating grade (tin vs gold) suited to the application.
Position Count Options in the PNI Series
The PNI series includes 2-position (PNIRR-02V), 3-position (this part), and 4-position (PNIRR-04V) variants at the same 2.00 mm pitch and panel-mount footprint.
ROHS3 compliant. No official cross-reference or second-source; the PNIRR-03VF is the free-hanging (in-line) variant of the same 3-position housing, not a panel-mount substitute.
