What this 1-position YL housing does
The YLR-01VF is a single-position receptacle housing from JST's YL series, designed for wire-to-board connections where a dedicated point-to-point signal or power line is needed. It accepts male pin contacts (ordered separately) and secures them with a latch holder that resists vibration-induced separation. The housing is molded from white polyamide (PA66) and operates from -25°C to 90°C — suitable for indoor equipment, control cabinets, and appliance wiring where moderate temperature range and a positive lock are required.
JST's YL series uses a standard crimp terminal; the exact contact part number depends on the wire gauge.
The YLR-01VF is identical in pitch (4.5mm), material (PA66), color (white), fastening (latch holder), and termination (crimp) to the YLR-02VF.
