Shrouded housing with latch and board lock for vibration-prone environments
The header is fully shrouded with 4 walls, which protects the male pins from damage during handling and prevents misalignment during mating. A latch holder on the housing locks with the mating receptacle for a vibration-resistant connection. Two board locks on the through-hole tails anchor the header to the PCB during soldering and resist shear forces from cable strain.
