11-position plug, push-in termination
The 1-1986720-1 is the 11-circuit member of TE Connectivity's plug, female sockets line with a 3.81 mm pitch and single-level layout. Rated 9 A at 300 V with tin-plated mating contacts, the plug accepts 14-30 AWG (0.05-2 mm²) wire via a screwless leg-spring, push-in termination — no tool needed for solid or ferruled stranded conductors.
Wire entry and side-stacking
Wire entry is 180° straight into the plug body, suited for in-line cable routing. The side-stacking feature allows multiple plugs to be ganged side-by-side on the same rail without additional hardware. Mounting is free-hanging (in-line) — no panel cutout or PCB required; the plug mates directly with the matching header.
