What This 4-Position Plug Housing Is
The 1-2035077-3: It is a free-hanging (in-line) connector with a latch lock fastening system, accepting female socket contacts via crimp termination. The housing is molded from Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) with glass-filled polyester, colored gray, and supplied in bulk packaging.
Mating and Termination
This plug housing mates with a corresponding TE Connectivity header (receptacle) of the same series — the latch lock engages to keep the pair together under vibration. A splice without a secondary lock is a fault waiting to happen; the latch lock provides that retention. It uses crimp-style female socket contacts, which must be ordered separately and crimped onto the wire before insertion into the housing cavities.
