BNC Bulkhead Jack for RG-316 — What Ships in the Kit

The 1-225398-5: The kit includes five pieces: the connector body, a ferrule, a gasket, a lockwasher, and a nut — so you don't need to order the mounting hardware separately.

This jack is specified for RD-316 double-braid cable. The shield is crimped, and the centre contact is also crimped.

Mounting and Environmental Fit

Panel mount via a bulkhead with a front-side nut — the included gasket seals the panel cutout, but the IP rating only applies when the jack is mated to a BNC plug with the bayonet lock fully engaged. The nickel-plated brass body and the PTFE dielectric mean this connector handles outdoor or industrial cabinet environments where condensation or mild washdown is present. Cap the open half when unmated to keep the centre contact and dielectric clean.
