Foil terminal for 10-12 AWG wire
The 1-330716-2: This TE Solistrand/Termi-Foil terminal accepts 10-12 AWG wire and terminates to a foil conductor through a double-face slotted crimp — the slot bites through the foil insulation on both sides, making contact without piercing the foil itself. The tin-plated copper contact handles the current the 10-12 AWG wire can carry, and the foil crimp area measures 0.454" x 0.708" (11.53 mm x 17.98 mm) — enough surface for a solid mechanical bond to the foil tab.
Where this terminal fits
This is a foil termination terminal, not a standard ring or spade — used where a wire connects to a thin foil conductor, common in transformer windings, battery tabs, and capacitor terminations. The overall length of 1.068" (27.13 mm) gives enough tail to crimp a wire and still clear the foil edge.
