Product details

The TE Connectivity Dynamic D-5200 header 1-353080-2 is a 2-position, single-row, through-hole power header on a 10.16mm pitch — one of the widest pitches in the series, sized for high-current board-to-cable/wire interconnects in industrial and general-purpose equipment. Each circuit carries 30A at up to 630V, with gold-plated mating contacts (15.0µin) and tin-plated solder tails.

The 10.16mm pitch gives generous creepage for the 630V rating without forcing an oversized board — each position needs a wide trace and a clearance hole big enough for the 0.150" post. The 30A per circuit means each power blade carries bus-level current; this is a main DC rail or motor-drive interconnect, not a signal line.

Board lock and shrouding — why they matter

The four-wall shrouding completely encloses the tab contacts, preventing accidental shorting and guiding the mating receptacle into alignment. The detent lock gives a positive tactile click when mated — you feel it seat, which is useful in blind-mount or vibration-prone assemblies.

Frequently asked questions

Does 1-353080-2 have board lock features?

Yes, the header includes a board lock for through-hole retention during wave solder and vibration resistance.
