Press-fit or solder termination — two assembly methods
Press-fit avoids a soldering step and is preferred for high-throughput or rework-sensitive builds; solder provides a traditional through-hole joint. The contact length on the post side is 0.134" (3.40 mm), and the mating pin length is 0.157" (4.00 mm) — standard dimensions for the HPI series.
This header mates with a matching HPI series receptacle housing (not included).
