64-position signal header for cable-to-board harnesses
The 1-5499922-2: This 64-position header from the AMP-Latch series mates with a matching IDC socket to build a 64-conductor cable assembly. The 4-wall shrouding protects the 0.240" (6.10mm) long square pins from bending during blind mating, and the long latch lock/eject hooks hold the cable plug secure against vibration while allowing tool-less unplugging.
The 0.549" (13.94mm) insulation height leaves clearance for components under the header body. A keying slot and mounting flange are included: the slot prevents mismating with a keyed cable plug, and the flange provides mechanical anchor points for the board or panel.
