15-position unshrouded through-hole header
The 1-640452-5 is the 15-position member of TE Connectivity's MTA-100 unshrouded header line, terminated through-hole with solder. Tin-plated mating contacts carry a voltage rating of 250 VAC; current rating varies by wire gauge.
Mating and termination
Mates with MTA-100 receptacle housings (same series, 0.100" pitch). The unshrouded male pins require the mating half to provide the polarisation and retention. The square tin-plated pins are soldered into the board — the 0.140" (3.56 mm) post length suits standard PCB thickness. The 0.100" (2.54 mm) insulation height matches the receptacle's entry depth.
