The 1-640453-5 is a 15-position, single-row unshrouded header from TE's MTA-100 series, designed to mate with MTA-100 IDC receptacles and standard 0.100-inch pitch crimp housings. Tin-plated mating contacts provide a reliable connection for moderate cycle counts — suitable for equipment wired once during assembly and rarely disconnected in the field.
ROHS3 compliant, with a thermoplastic housing rated UL94 V-0.
This header mates with MTA-100 IDC receptacles (such as the 640456 series) or standard 0.100-inch pitch crimp housings that accept 22-26 AWG discrete wires. The unshrouded pins — 0.295" (7.49mm) mating length, square profile — insert into the receptacle's insulation displacement slots or crimp terminals.
