Right-angle header for board-edge wire routing
The 1-640455-5 is a 15-position, single-row header from the MTA-100 series, pitched at 0.100" (2.54mm) and mounted right-angle through-hole. The single-wall shroud guides the mating receptacle during assembly and provides basic polarization to prevent a reversed mate.
This header is designed to mate with the MTA-100 IDC or crimp-socket receptacles, creating a wire-to-board connection for discrete wires or ribbon cable. The 0.100" pitch and single row match the standard MTA-100 receptacle footprint. The 0.225" (5.72mm) insulation height leaves clearance for the housing body above the board.
