14-circuit MTA-100 header — pitch and lock
The 1-640457-4 is the 14-circuit member of TE Connectivity's MTA-100 single-row header line, on 0.100" (2.54 mm) pitch, for board-to-cable/wire applications. Tin-plated mating contacts carry 250 VAC; the friction lock holds the mated pair against casual vibration without a secondary latch.
Through-hole right-angle — board-edge fit
Right-angle through-hole termination places the header at the board edge, parallel to the PCB, with the 0.140" (3.56 mm) solder tail for a standard 0.062" board. The single shrouded wall guides the mating receptacle and the friction lock clicks in place.
