4.14mm pitch right-angle header for board-to-cable harnesses
The 1-770972-1: This is a 12-position, dual-row header from TE's Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK series, designed for board-to-cable/wire applications. The 4.14mm pitch sets the PCB footprint and the per-contact current ceiling — the current rating varies by wire gauge, but the 0.163" spacing keeps the contact temperature rise within the UL94 V-0 nylon housing limits. The right-angle orientation places the mating face parallel to the board, useful for cable exits at the board edge in space-constrained enclosures. The header is shrouded on all four walls, protecting the male pins during handling and guiding the mating receptacle into alignment.
