Board-to-wire power header with locking retention
The 1-794068-1 is a vertical through-hole header from the Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK series, designed for board-to-cable/wire applications. It carries 16 positions in a dual-row layout on a 0.163" (4.14mm) pitch and row spacing. The shrouded 4-wall housing protects the male pins during handling and guides the mating receptacle into alignment. Board locks on the mounting posts anchor the header during wave soldering and add mechanical retention against cable strain in service.
Contact plating and temperature range
The gold finish supports repeated mating cycles in corrosive or humid environments, while the tin tails wet reliably in lead-free wave solder.
